Welcome

The
Holy Fire of Revival is upon us!
We
could, but we're not going to teach you how to produce a five CD
motivational series on "How to be a better person", or show
you how to be a TV evangelist. We aren't interested in
turning you out to be another "Prosperity Preacher" or tell
you how you can become the next celeb "happening ministry".
We
won't be able to buff up your flesh in the old adamic carnal
nature, with ear tickling, cross-less formulas, so that you
can offer up "strange fire prayers and worship" before the
face of the Almighty God.
But, if
your interested in real revival, real burning passion for
the Lord, for souls, for prayer, holiness, passion and
purpose for Him and carrying your own cross in diciple-ship
and holiness, then we are here for you. If you want to
see revival come and God come down, then join us.

This
Bible Institute
was started by the Revd. Dr. Stephen Houston D.D.,
as part of the overall establishment of a new Pentecostal
Church planted in Chippenham, Wiltshire, UK in 2005. The
Church and the Bible Institute hold their services and
lectures in what used to be Causeway Methodist Church but is
now The Cause Music and Arts Centre, 42 Causeway, Chippenham,
Wiltshire, UK. For Church Service and Bible Institute

The
Pentecostal Bible Institute
is part
of Pentecostal theological training for those
called to be Ministers in
The Pentecostal Holiness Church
of Great Britain and Ireland and the
Assemblies of God
(International Fellowship).
The
Pentecostal Church, in the wider meaning of including
all the variety of Churches within "Pentecostalism", is now
the single largest Protestant denomination globally.
Estimated, to
number between 400 and 600 million followers worldwide in
2000, Pentecostalism is running neck and neck with the Roman
Catholic Church to be the largest Christian denomination.
Christianity
Today reported in an article titled World Growth at 19
Million a year, according to historian Vinson Synan, dean of
the Regent University School of Divinity in Virginia Beach.
Very conservatively, about 25 percent of the world's
Christians are Pentecostal or charismatic.
Therefore it
seemed inevitable that representative institutions should be
established to represent Pentecostalism's growing influence
in the wider world and to monitor the results of that
influence.
This should also
include the actions of those who promote Pentecostalism's
advancement by planting and establishing new Churches and
Bible Training Institutions.
Inside Europe
and particularly the United Kingdom, Pentecostalism is
wrongly portrayed as a minor Christian denomination, as
state churches e.g. the Lutheran, Reformed, Roman Catholic,
Church of England etc, grab the media and the government's
attention.
However, the
European and UK public are not jaundiced in their perception
of exactly what place Pentecostalism holds. They are
becoming more and more aware of global statistics that are
evolving and particularly in Europe and UK. This is because
of Pentecostalism's dominance in the field of evangelism and
the Christian media.
